The six corridor railway project that has been implemented by CIDCO will cover a length of 200kms. The six rail corridors are mentioned below:

- Mankhurd – Belapur – Panvel (It will connect Mumbai to Navi Mumbai and consist of nine stations).
- Thane – Turbhe – Nerul / Vashi (It will connect Navi Mumbai to Thane)
- Kalwa – Turbhe
- Belapur / Nerul – Uran
- Mansarovar – Taloja
The Panvel railway station caters two corridors, which are Belapur – Panvel and Panvel – Uran. It is the centre of all industrial traffic in Navi Mumbai. Panvel is a vital junction for long distance trains and terminus for suburban trains from CSMT (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus).
Belapur- Panvel Railway Line:

Thus, it will connect the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport to proposed Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA). This will reduce travel time between CST and Panvel by nearly 40 minutes.
